Meet Pastor Katie

Family: I am married to my amazing husband, Isaiah, and we have two boys, Preston and Rowen.

Ministry Role: I am the Service Coordinating Pastor at Legacy Church. I love getting to do the behind the scene things in preparation for our Sunday Services, and working with our Social Media team to better our Social Media presence.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Chicken Parmesan from Olive Garden

What's a Bible verse that has really impacted your life?: I love Romans 8:28 because it is a constant reminder that God is working on my behalf at all times. No matter the situation or how hard it may seem, I can read this and have faith that God will use it for His glory.

How do you like to spend your free time?: I love spending time with my husband and our two boys.

What's something most people don't know about you?: I want to be a Midwife.

If you could have dinner with any Bible character (besides Jesus), who would it be and why?: I would have dinner with the unnamed woman who was healed from a bleeding disorder because she has such an inspiring amount of faith. She suffered from this disorder for year upon year but still in her heart believed that just by the touch of Jesus’ garment she would be healed. I would ask her how she kept her faith strong in the midst of struggle and how it felt to be miraculously healed.

What's a worship song that always moves you?: “Son of Suffering” by Bethel Music.

If you weren't in ministry, what do you think you'd be doing?: If I weren’t in ministry, I think I would be in the medical field studying Women’s Health.

Coffee or tea-and how do you take it?: Iced Coffee with lots of sweetener.

What's one thing you hope people experience when they visit our church?: When people visit our church, I hope they experience a sense of belonging - like they are seen and valued no matter their background, ethnicity, or where they are in their spiritual journey, so that they can have a real encounter with The Lord.
