Christian Education
At Legacy, our heart is to see every individual grow in their faith and understanding of Christ. We believe that Christian Education plays a vital role in deepening this relationship and provides a strong foundation that equips us for life and service.
Our vision for Christian Education is not just about learning, but about fostering an environment where each person can experience personal transformation through a deeper connection with Jesus. We are committed to helping you explore and strengthen your faith, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
To support this mission, we offer a variety of learning opportunities, including Seasonal Classes, Sunday Schools, Grow Groups, and a Fresh Connections Class. Each of these avenues are designed to encourage growth, foster community, and deepen your understanding of God's Word.
These classes are intentionally designed to explore different aspects of the Christian faith, tailored to the needs of our congregation throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to deepen your Bible knowledge, grow in your prayer life, or learn more about specific biblical topics, our seasonal classes provide dynamic and enriching learning experiences. Sunday Schools
For families and individuals, our Sunday School program is foundational in nurturing both the young and the mature in faith. Our classes are designed to engage participants with biblical truths in ways that are meaningful and practical, helping them apply their faith to everyday life.

Fresh Connections
Fresh Connections is a micro-community that meets weekly to foster growth in a person’s Biblical knowledge while doing so in an intimate, personal, and connected setting. Fresh Connections is about your willingness to re-enter the Bible & the things of God with childlike wonder & humility as if for the first time.
Matthew 18:2-4 “And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Participants are invited to follow the Bible Recap reading plan throughout the course of the week. On Sunday mornings we gather to get to know one another and to discuss new insights discovered over the course of the last week. Each person is invited to share a Fresh Connection they have made with God, with His word, or with His people. The remainder of the time together focuses on discussion questions from the last week’s reading.
By following this plan, participants go through the entire Bible together within one year. You can only imagine the impact this is having on all of the participants!
Together, we grow as a Church community, support one another, and grow in Biblical literacy. Sounds like the community described in the book of Acts, doesn’t it?
This class meets during the 10am service time, and is located in the Fresh Connections Room inside the youth center building.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

I love that we are doing the Bible Recap because without that I don't know if i'd read the Bible like this on my own. I'm not very educated. I dropped out of school in the nineth grade, and have worked since then, though I am now working on my GED. I've also been controlled for years and years. I lost who I am a long time ago. I'm still lost, but this class and God's word is helping me all the way around

It’s so Real and refreshing! Walking side by side with other believers that need more of God! The class allows for such a pure openness of each others hearts and situations without the fear of judgment. It’s how real life should be as we are learning in His word and from each other. The best thing is knowing and realizing that we don’t have to do it alone. Learning His word at the same time then allows for the tools to grow and overcome. It’s such an empowering class.

We joined Fresh Connections in April of 2024 and it had been such a blessing to myself and my family. Before joining, I had never read through the Bible in a year but was very excited and somewhat intimidated to attempt it. The Fresh Connections group was incredibly encouraging as we were all following this same journey together. Week after week we talked about what God was doing in our lives and how he was changing us through his Word. The group was a huge motivation to keep going and follow through with the commitment. I have gained so much from the group including friendship and a renewed since of excitement for the Bible. This was the first year of my marriage that my husband and I studied the Word together day in and day out. It has brought us closer

Fresh Connections has given me a place where I can be around other Christians that support my new walk with Jesus. Fellowship helps me de-“hermatize” and regain trust in people.

We love Fresh Connections because of the people we are engaged in studying the Bible with and praying for!! It will be so neat to go thru the whole Bible in a year, every year, with a group of loving and enthusiastic Christian folks!!

From the moment I stepped into Fresh Connections I felt so welcomed. It’s honestly the highlight of my week getting to see my friends and talk about the Bible. Hearing different viewpoints, and growing spiritually together is what I love most.
