Meet Pastor Chase

Ministry Role: Youth Pastor. I’ve been on staff at Legacy since 2019.

Family: I married my beautiful wife, Jordyn, in 2023.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Panda Express plate with honey sesame chicken breast, orange chicken, and chow mein. Yes, I spent a long time thinking about this.

What's a Bible verse that has really impacted your life?: Hebrews 4:16. My mind is blown every time I think about how I get to boldly approach the throne of grace!

How do you like to spend your free time?: Spending time outside, camping, reading, watching movies.

What's something most people don't know about you?: I once spent 24 hours straight inside of a Whataburger just to prove I could do it.

If you could have dinner with any Bible character (besides Jesus), who would it be and why?: No question about it, I would choose David. From shepherd boy chosen by God, to a messed up, broken king (that was still chosen by God). His story is one I can read over and over again and never get tired of it.

What's a worship song that always moves you?: Too many to choose from, but I will say Pour My Love On You. Specifically the UPPERROOM version.

If you weren't in ministry, what do you think you'd be doing?: I love traveling and wanted to be a commercial airline pilot before stepping into ministry, so that’s probably what I would do.

Coffee or tea-and how do you take it?: Coffee. But it winds up tasting more like a dessert by the time I’m done with it.

What's one thing you hope people experience when they visit our church?: I want people to walk in and find exactly what they always heard church should be, but maybe they’ve never felt before. Authentic encounter with the presence of God, loving people, and a community that they can belong to.
